How the request forms use your data

Controller: MoreThanOps, which runs MTO FinOps. Contact for anything on this page: info@morethanops.pro. Owner details are in the legal notice.
What we collect
Only what you send through one of the forms on this site:
- your work email (required, every form);
- whether you also want emails about other MTO FinOps products (optional, unticked checkbox);
- your monthly AWS spend bracket (required in the main form, optional in the pricing form) and your role (main form);
- what you are interested in, your monthly AI spend bracket and the clouds you use (main form, optional);
- the product you clicked in the pricing section, if any, and which form you used.
With each submission the page also sends the utm_ parameters of the link you came from (for example, which post you clicked), the page address, the time you submitted and the version of the form wording you saw.
This page covers the forms only. If you go ahead with a review, the read-only access to your AWS account and the data it involves are covered by a separate written agreement, before anything is read.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Answering your request: arranging your free review (read-only access and the results call), replying about Remediation, or telling you when a product you asked to be notified about opens. This is a step you ask us to take before any agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); no checkbox is needed, and we email you only about that request.
- Emails about other MTO FinOps products, only if you tick the optional box: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); LSSI-CE art. 21). We keep the time and the wording version as proof. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe line in every email.
- The other answers and the
utm_data, used to prepare your review and, in aggregate, to size demand and decide what to build next: our legitimate interest in learning whether the service is useful and for whom (Art. 6(1)(f)). We only look at totals for demand and do not build profiles. You can object at any time.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising or use it for anything else. No decision about you is made by automated means.
Who processes it for us
| Processor | What it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Formspark | Receives and stores the form submissions. Its third-party spam scoring is turned off for these forms. | Belgian company, data in the EEA. Its data processing agreement applies automatically. |
| Umami Cloud | Counts page views and clicks (for example, which product was clicked). No cookies and no raw IP address stored; statistics kept for 6 months. | EU data region for this site. Umami Software is a US company: data processing agreement with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. |
| Cloudflare | Hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request data to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. | US company with a global network. Certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; data processing agreement with the Standard Contractual Clauses. |
Transfers outside the EU
Umami Software and Cloudflare are US companies and may process data in the US. For Umami the safeguard is the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing agreement. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with Standard Contractual Clauses in its agreement as well. Form submissions stay in the EEA with Formspark.
Cookies: none
This site sets no cookies. Fonts are served from this site. If you click a product in the pricing section, the page keeps its name in your browser's session storage for that tab only, so the form can send it with your email; it is cleared when you close the tab. Audience measurement uses Umami, which is cookieless and anonymous.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as we are in contact about it, and never more than 12 months after you send it unless you become a client. We delete it earlier when you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. Umami keeps its anonymous statistics for 6 months.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its use, a copy in a portable format, or object to its use (GDPR Arts. 15 to 22). You can withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect what was done before. Email info@morethanops.pro; we reply within one month. Every email we send has an unsubscribe line.
You also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD: https://www.aepd.es.
